SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEMS

Solar Water Heating system uses sunlight and converts it into heat for water heating purpose. This is done through solar thermal collectors. The solar water heater absorbs light by means of a collector placed on the roof and converts it into heat. It passes this heat to the water tank by means of a circulating pump or through gravity. This exchange is further triggered by the thermal regulator, but only when the collector is hotter than the water in the tank. This prevents the circulating pumps usage which in turn reduces energy consumption.

 

Conversely, it also prevents overheating. When there is insufficient sunlight, the water is preheated using a back-up system using an Electric Heating Element which takes over to bring the water to the required temperature. This system can therefore be used to produce hot water at a constant temperature throughout the year without emitting any CO2 and there in reducing your energy consumption.

Thermosiphon Solar Water Heater

Thermosiphon is a method of passive heat exchange, based on natural convection, which circulates a fluid without the necessity of a mechanical pump because it has simple design and this is the reason why it is reliable and efficient as it uses well-insulated storage tanks. Even during night, the stand-by heat loss is significantly reduced. Because of its simplistic design it has no moving parts which further lead to fewer problems. It has built in Thermosiphon system that is flexible and can work in warmer and colder areas. It has easy troubleshooting and even through simple precautionary measures the Thermosiphon heating systems can easily be protected against adverse conditions such as freezing or overheating. It comprises of different capacities up to 300L per unit and several units which can be linked together for larger requirements. It comes with different varieties depending on the storage tank size. Inclusive of Design, Installation, Service Maintenance and one-year warranty, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) contract can be renewed annually.

Forced Circulation Solar Water Heater

Forced Circulation Solar Water Heater use a forced circulation for solar water heater. It is an installation in which the water circulates inside the circuit driven by a circulating pump. With these forced circulation systems, the movement of water in the closed circuit is forced by a pump which maximizes efficiency. It has the best aesthetic results given one central tank connected to several solar collectors based on sizing requirements which makes it easy to install and compatible with most types of auxiliary heating. The thermal efficiency of Forced Circulation Solar Water Heater is higher than the thermal solar system with thermosiphon because while regulating the speed of the water that circulates through the solar collector, it can be optimized to obtain the highest thermal performance according to the laws of thermodynamics. The design comes in different capacities depending on the required consumption from 1,000L per set to 10,000L custom set. It comes with different varieties depending on the storage tank size.
